Job description

Position: Backend engineer(Node.js)

Location: Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL-Hybrid

Duration: Long Term

Experience

  • Node.js is the top preferred technology, followed by React and Java. Angular is also used. The manager is open to strong candidates with other languages, since transferable coding patterns matter.
  • API development and integration with SQL and NoSQL databases are relevant; SQL experience is expected.
  • CI/CD, software testing (unit, integration, and functional), and collaboration with test teams are important.
  • The role is senior/Level 4: the person should contribute to architecture and code reviews, and show situational leadership by stepping up and identifying risks, without being responsible for full team coordination.
  • Commerce or e-commerce experience is a plus, especially familiarity with commercial concerns such as tax regulations.
