Clinical Trial Manager | Biberach an der Riß, Germany | Hybrid

This employer is a globally recognised pharmaceutical company seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to oversee critical supply chain operations for investigational medicinal products. They are known for their innovative work in the General Medicine therapeutic area and offer a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The Role

  • Lead global Supply Chain activities for investigational medicinal products (IMPs) across Phase I-IV clinical trials in General Medicine.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, and Supply Chain for assigned trials, ensuring timely and cost-effective provision of clinical supplies.
  • Manage and lead the Clinical Trial Supply Unit (CTSU) trial team within a matrix structure, fostering cross-functional collaboration and ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and industry needs.
  • Provide expert input on clinical trial protocols, bulk demands (including comparators and non-IMP commercial products), packaging designs, and distribution strategies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support investigations for assigned trials.

What You'll Need

  • Master's degree in natural sciences or a related field, or equivalent vocational training with clinical trial experience.
  • Several years of experience in clinical trial supplies or a related business area.
  • Proven experience in an international environment, including team leadership and project management.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and GMP/GCP requirements for IMPs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project requirements.
  • Fluent English and good German language skills (spoken and written).
