We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js & iOS Developer with a strong backend foundation and exposure iOS development experience. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable server-side applications while contributing meaningfully to native iOS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Node.js backend services and APIs
- Architect and build high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile consumption
- Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift/Objective-C
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end product features
- Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across backend and mobile layers
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and cloud platforms into existing systems
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required Skills & Experience
Node.js (Primary — Mandatory)
- 7+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Node.js development
- Deep expertise in Express.js / NestJS frameworks
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices
- Experience with databases — both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
- Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms — AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
iOS Development (Secondary — Required)
- Solid experience in native iOS development using Swift
- Familiarity with Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple developer ecosystem
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs into iOS applications
- Understanding of iOS app architecture patterns — MVC, MVVM, or VIPER
- Knowledge of App Store submission process and guidelines
Good to Have
- Experience with React Native or cross-platform mobile frameworks
- Knowledge of containerization tools — Docker, Kubernetes
- Exposure to serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Functions)
- Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or enterprise technology domains
