Job Title: Backend Python Developer
Location: USA, 100% Remote
Position Type: Contract
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Python Developer to build scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong Python development experience and a good understanding of databases, cloud, and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
  • Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with appropriate unit testing.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
  • Support cloud deployments and CI/CD processes.
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL.
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Preferred: Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Redis, Terraform, GraphQL, and cloud-native development.
