Marketing & Business Development Manager Commodities (Fixed-Term Contract)

Up to £70,000 pro-rata

London (EC2N) / Hybrid

Our client is a leading international law firm seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join its Commodities team on a maternity cover contract until July 2027.

Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days in the London office and is offered on a fixed-term basis until July 2027.

This is a business development-focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders and fee earners to develop client relationships, identify new opportunities and deliver the wider BD strategy.

The successful candidate as a Marketing & Business Development Manager will:

• Have proven experience in business development and marketing, including client development, pitches and RFPs, market research, campaigns and events.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior fee earners are essential, alongside excellent communication, organisation and project management skills.

The ideal candidate as a Marketing & Business Development Manager will be:

• Proactive
• Commercially minded
• Able to work independently
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to deadlines
• Previous law firm experience is highly desirable, with an understanding of the Commodities sector being advantageous
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, are also required, with experience using a CRM system beneficial.
