Salary: £42,000–£43,000 per annum, depending on experience

Shift Pattern: Rotating days and nights

The Role

Echo Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Corby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with previous maintenance experience to join an established operation, playing a key role in keeping production running efficiently and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime.

• Troubleshoot breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machinery reliability and performance.

• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.

• Work closely with production teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role is essential.

• Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

• Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Shift Pattern

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, with two weeks working days followed by two weeks working nights.

• Holiday is 20 days.
