Were partnered with an established and growing Managed Service Provider in Bournemouth thats looking for an ambitious 2nd Line MSP Engineer to join their technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who already has MSP experience but wants a role where they can genuinely accelerate their career. Rather than remaining in 2nd Line support, youll be given the training, mentoring and technical exposure needed to progress towards 3rd Line, Infrastructure and Project Engineering with opportunities to move into Team Lead and Management positions as your career develops.

Youll support a varied client base across a broad range of technologies, taking ownership of escalated technical issues while working closely with experienced senior engineers. Youll gain exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, servers, cloud infrastructure and security, alongside opportunities to become involved in increasingly complex technical projects.

The business places a major emphasis on developing and promoting its engineers internally. Youll have access to ongoing training, senior technical mentorship and hands-on project exposure, giving you the opportunity to build skills that would normally sit at 3rd Line or Infrastructure Engineer level.

Whether your long-term goal is to become a senior technical specialist, Infrastructure/Project Engineer or move into technical leadership and management, there is a genuine pathway to get there.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience working within an MSP environment is essential

• Experience working in a 2nd Line IT Support / Technical Support role

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory

• Good understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls

• Experience troubleshooting servers, hardware, software and infrastructure issues

• Exposure to Azure / Cloud technologies

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, develop and progress
