Ideal Candidate

·        We seek a proactive, engaged team member who takes ownership, challenges the status quo, and drives solutions. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, eager to learn new technologies and platforms, and confident working independently while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

The primary technologies discussed were:

·        ServiceNow

·        SailPoint

·        At least three years of relevant experience

·        Strong client-service and communication skills

·        A strong risk mindset

·        Ability to understand access requirements and determine the appropriate roles and permissions

·        Willingness and ability to learn new technologies

Role Overview and Banking Environment
You explained that this position supports approximately 30 applications associated with the banking environment, which makes the role significantly more specialized from an access, security, and risk perspective.
Unlike standard Client applications, these banking applications require a much more rigorous administrative-access approval process because some of the applications directly impact areas involving financial transactions, payroll, trading, and investors. The team is also working directly with external banking partners such as Wells Fargo and JPMorgan, rather than simply supporting internally owned Client applications.
The goal is ultimately to automate and improve the provisioning and access-management process, but the complexity of obtaining the appropriate administrative access has made this challenging.
Technical Requirements
ServiceNow
SailPoint
At least three years of relevant experience
Strong client-service and communication skills
A strong risk mindset
Ability to understand access requirements and determine the appropriate roles and permissions
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
Ideally, you would prefer someone who is not solely focused on either ServiceNow or SailPoint, since the two technologies are quite different. However, someone with strong experience in one and the ability and willingness to learn the other would certainly be considered.
A significant part of the role will involve working with managers and clients to determine the appropriate access and understand the various banking-related roles and permissions.
