Java SAP Hybris

Position : Sap Hybris

Location : Remote

In this role you will:

• Manage a team of software engineers to teams to ship new products and services that make customers happy and contribute to the success of the company within a global delivery model
• Provide oversight, planning, and technical direction to development teams to ensure successful delivery of software projects
• Oversee teams in the selection of the appropriate tools and frameworks
• Promote "best practice" digital software engineering processes and techniques, including cloud-based architecture, source control, DevOps, and security
• Collaborate with other teams such as design, product, IT and marketing
• Be "hands on" when needed, jumping in to pair program with team members or pick up a bugfix ticket
• Guides a digital software engineering culture emphasizing innovation, growth, and development
• Ensure all internal processes and external services comply with security and privacy regulations

You should have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

8+ years of overall professional hands on Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience

4+ years of experience in solution design and architecture of large, complex web sites and/or web applications (web content management or ecommerce), specifically Hybris

Strong analytical skills, problem determination and debugging, attention to detail, teamwork and excellent communication skills

Good working experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Experience working within cloud-based environment (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)

Good working experience with server technologies

Experience leading the development of at least one product or feature from ideation to launch

Experience having an active role in shaping the culture and technical standards of an engineering organization

Knowledge of software development concepts/methodology/life-cycle, especially Agile methodology

Experience with project automation technology: Jenkins, Continuum, Hudson, automated unit testing, Maven, Ant

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, Angular, React

Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL

Experience with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC, Eclipse

Working knowledge of building eCommerce platforms using SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud)

Familiarity with frameworks like Bootstrap

Experience integrating front end interfaces with internal and external services using API

Knowledge of Swagger and REST design
