Third Party & Outsourcing Risk Analyst
Position Purpose:
This role has responsibility to support Op. Risk Controls & Governance team in devising and implementing the UK Third Party and Outsourcing strategy, collaborating with stakeholders across geographies in managing Outsourcing and Third-Party risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and enterprise policies & guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with enterprise subject matter experts (SMEs), Function leads and business owners, support both third party and outsourcing governance in line with regulatory guidance (such as AT9 MaRisk, EBA-Guidelines, DORA, PRA, FCA, ACPR) and governance policies;
- Support business owners in identifying outsourced relationships, risk assessments and compliance of the outsourcing and third-party governance and controls;
- Support key stakeholders in their outsourcing and third-party strategy;
- Ensure the outsourcing and third-party register is updated in a timely manner, aligned with regulatory requirements, with the appropriate contract and SLAs in place for each outsourcing arrangement;
- Escalate material issues and risks to key stakeholders;
- Develop, publish and present reports relating to outsourced and third-party activities, to key stakeholders and relevant risk committees;
- Project Management with different key stakeholders to remediate any gap and/or issue identified.
Education &/or Experience
- University degree (Bachelor degree) or equivalent;
- 1-5 years relevant work experience. Preferably in Third Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Management, Operational Risk, or Regulatory Compliance;
- Knowledge of Outsourcing regulatory requirements in UK, or strong understanding of related risk management principles is a plus
- Familiarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks. Ideally, experience in banking industry, consulting or regulator institutions

- Effective communicator and facilitator, both verbally and in writing. Able to clearly define and communicate ideas, and calibrate the message depending on audience;
- Experience in analyzing and implementing regulatory requirements;
- Ability to operate in large and complex environments;
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence others to action;
- Self-driven, organized and pro-active in driving results;
- Risk management focused with strong attention to detail and delivery; including the ability to multi-task and identify methods for greater efficiency;
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and developing clear path forward;
- Comfortable in challenging others.
Technical
- Experienced with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
