Lead Epic Systems Analyst - Healthcare IT

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Lead Epic Analyst to drive optimization, build, and support of Epic systems within our IT department. In this role, you'll partner with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to design pediatric-focused workflows that advance quality, safety, and patient outcomes. You will lead analysts, manage upgrades and integrations, and ensure reliable Epic performance. Working in a mission-driven, innovative environment, you'll leverage state-of-the-art tools to improve care delivery, support research, and enhance the experience of children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic design, build, and optimization to support pediatric clinical workflows
• Collaborate with clinicians and IT to translate requirements into Epic solutions
• Oversee system testing, validation, and change management for Epic updates
• Manage and mentor Epic analysts, ensuring best practices and standards
• Analyze data and workflows to improve quality, safety, and patient outcomes
• Coordinate integrations with third-party systems and interfaces
• Support go-lives, upgrades, and incident resolution with timely communication
• Develop documentation, training materials, and user support resources
