Job Description

 Title: FPGA Design and Verification Contractor

Term: Long-Term Contract/Perm Possible

Location: Remote/USA

Required:

  • Candidates must be in US
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years developing complex FPGA-based digital designs using SoCs with embedded processing, high-speed interfaces, and custom IP
  • Perform FPGA verification and documentation
  • Ability to read schematics and apply verification methodologies
  • Translate system-level requirements into FPGA design specifications
  • Write high-quality SystemVerilog to meet performance, quality, and schedule targets
  • Develop and execute test and verification strategies for FPGA designs.
  • Drive best practices for design quality, development processes, and continuous improvement
  • Create modular, reusable, synthesizable and verification IP for current and future projects
  • Support debug and defect resolution, including validation, logging, and root-cause analysis

Skills:

  • Experience with ARM-based systems, build tools (make, git), and CI/CD
  • Experience with Questa, Vivado, and Github Actions
  • Experience with FPGA, firmware, and embedded system testing 
  • Xilinx design (Block Design, AXI IP) and custom IP integration 
  • SystemVerilog, Python, TCL, Bash
  • Knowledge of embedded protocols (I2C, QSPI, UART, PCIe, etc.) 
  • Familiar with BMC management and protocols (IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, Redfish) 
  • Experience with ARM-based systems, build tools (make, git), and CI/CD.
