The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule in collaboration with nursing leaders to optimize department staffing.
• Identify and advise supervisors on any issues related to the nursing schedule and staffing ratios.
• Ensure compliance of employee, contract, and student files with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and schedule educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Distribute nursing schedules in a timely and professional manner.
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Proven experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission and regulatory standards is a plus.
