Test Lead

• 12 + 12 + 12-month contract with a key Commonwealth government department

Resolve Recruit is seeking an experienced Test Lead to support its Federal Government client. This role will assist with the delivery of various ICT projects, working across functional, integration and regression testing to support quality outcomes.

As a Test Lead, you will bring strong testing fundamentals alongside the leadership and communication skills to guide testing activities and work closely with both technical teams and external stakeholders. Exposure to AI product evaluation, Dynamics 365 CRM testing, and DevOps/TFS-based test planning will be highly regarded, as will automation testing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and plan functional, integration and regression testing across ICT projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to testing team members.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support testing outcomes.
• Manage test planning and defect tracking using DevOps/TFS.
• Support the evaluation of AI products and help determine testing approaches.
• Contribute to testing of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.

Key Experience and Skills:

• Experience leading teams and working independently across functional, integration and regression testing.
• Demonstrated understanding of testing principles and techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with DevOps/TFS for test planning and defect management
• Automation testing experience highly desirable
