Location: Hybrid in San Jose, CA or Dallas, TX

Summary

We is seeking a Director/Manager of Manufacturing Operations to lead our external manufacturing and supply chain activities across foundries, assembly partners, test operations, logistics providers, and suppliers. This is a high-impact operational leadership role responsible for ensuring customer products move efficiently from tapeout through volume production and shipment.

About the Role

The Director/Manager of Manufacturing Operations will lead all external manufacturing and supply chain activities across foundries, assembly partners, test operations, logistics providers, and suppliers. This individual will be accountable for production execution, supply continuity, delivery performance, manufacturing quality, and operational profitability. The role serves as the operational leader responsible for ensuring customer products move efficiently from tapeout through volume production and shipment.

What You'll Do

Lead manufacturing operations across wafer fabrication, assembly, final test, and logistics

Own production planning and execution for all customer programs

Manage relationships with foundries, OSATs, material suppliers, and logistics partners

Establish capacity reservation and supply continuity strategies

Drive on-time delivery performance across all programs

Lead quarterly business reviews with manufacturing partners

Develop manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting

Support customer escalations related to delivery, quality, and supply

Manage inventory strategy, die banking, and safety stock planning

Drive cost optimization initiatives across wafer, package, and test operations

Establish operational risk mitigation plans and alternate sourcing strategies

Build and lead manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams

What You Bring

10-15 years in semiconductor manufacturing operations

Experience managing relationships with major foundries such as TSMC, Samsung, GlobalFoundries

Experience working with OSAT partners including ASE, JCET, SPIL, Stats ChipPAC, or equivalent

Strong understanding of wafer fabrication, assembly, test, and production release processes

Experience managing customer-facing production programs

Experience with production forecasting and capacity planning

Preferred: ASIC supply chain management

Preferred: Fabless semiconductor operations experience

Preferred: OSAT manufacturing management background

Preferred: Experience in semiconductor business units responsible for production delivery
