Senior Electrical Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in electrical systems design for facilities such as laboratories, offices, hospitals, data centers, and government or commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop electrical designs using Revit and AutoCAD for a wide range of building projects
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and clients throughout all project phases
• Select and specify electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Prepare electrical plans, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and load calculations
• Participate in client meetings, job site visits, and construction administration activities
• Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and provide technical support during construction

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in electrical design within the consulting engineering field
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other related design tools
• Strong knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes
• Diploma or certification from an accredited drafting technology program, or equivalent experience in BIM modeling
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphical communication skills
• A self-starter with problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset
