MLD Teacher | Chester, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Deliver bespoke Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, including MLD, SLD, and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1 - KS5, with planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Provide comprehensive progress reports and regular feedback to stakeholders.
• Work flexibly to adapt to the individual learning styles and needs of each student.
• Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, with a strong preference for SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
