About the Role

A growing financial services organization is seeking an experienced Trade Manager to oversee the daily trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement activities supporting retirement plan investments. This position is responsible for ensuring transactions are accurately processed, trade requests are executed efficiently, and settlements are completed in a timely manner.

This is an excellent opportunity for an investment operations professional who enjoys working with financial markets, complex transaction data, and critical operational processes that directly support investment activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily trade requests, executions, and settlement activities.
  • Review and reconcile trade files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Confirm contributions and assets are available for processing and trading.
  • Monitor trade activity and identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues.
  • Coordinate daily settlement processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and manage trade blotters and transaction reports.
  • Partner with custodians, brokers, and internal teams to ensure seamless transaction processing.
  • Research and resolve trade discrepancies, exceptions, and reconciliation breaks.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Trade Management, Investment Operations, or a related investment services function.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of stock market investments, brokerage operations, and investment management processes.
  • Experience working with large volumes of financial transaction data.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within investment management, wealth management, asset management, retirement services, or brokerage environments.
  • Familiarity with custodial relationships and settlement operations.
  • Experience supporting retirement plan investment transactions.
