Quick overview
Job description
About the Role
Join an early-stage AI company as its first Enterprise Account Manager, reporting to the COO. You will own post-launch relationships and drive renewals and account expansion across a portfolio of large enterprise customers.
What You'll Do
Manage enterprise customer relationships from production launch through renewal, focusing on existing accounts rather than new customer acquisition.
Forecast, negotiate, and close renewals while identifying opportunities to expand revenue within each account.
Partner with account executives, customer success managers, and customer success engineers to support account growth and transition renewal ownership.
Use adoption and usage data to build customer business cases for expanding pilots, use cases, and deployments across departments.
Lead executive business reviews and help establish the enterprise account management function.
Identify customer blockers and share them with product and engineering teams, connecting feedback to retention and revenue impact.
What We're Looking For
Two to seven years of experience in enterprise account management or customer success at a B2B software company.
Experience personally owning renewal and expansion targets across a portfolio of large enterprise accounts, or an ARR portfolio of approximately $3 million to $4 million.
A track record of growing accounts and closing renewals, with revenue results you can clearly explain.
Experience managing multi-stakeholder accounts, including executive-level commercial conversations; a portfolio of double-digit enterprise accounts is preferred.
Customer success experience beyond support, onboarding, or project management, with stable recent tenure and primarily US-based work experience.
Familiarity with CRM systems, usage analytics, APIs, and ideally usage-based pricing, AI, LLMs, or voice AI.
Experience with call center-intensive industries or a technical background, including computer science, is beneficial.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, in-person startup environment with an intensive work schedule.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $180,000 to $220,000 annually, plus equity with a four-year vesting schedule and a one-year cliff. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Redwood City, California.
