SEN / SEND Tutor | Ellesmere, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are hiring for an impact-driven organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We partner with schools and local authorities to provide essential support.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 through flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Report on lesson progress and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• UK work authorization.
