Workday Finance Integration Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Integration Consultant to design, build, and support integrations between Workday Financial Management and surrounding enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Workday Studio, a strong understanding of Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) processes, and the ability to deliver reporting that supports finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday Finance integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services
• Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with banks, payroll, procurement, tax, expense, and other third-party or legacy systems
• Gather and translate business and technical requirements from Finance and IT stakeholders into integration designs and technical specifications
• Support FSCM processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Banking and Settlement, and Assets
• Create and maintain Workday reports, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports, and calculated fields
• Troubleshoot integration errors, monitor integration events, and resolve production issues
• Support data conversion, mapping, and validation activities
• Participate in testing cycles (unit, system integration, UAT, regression) and cutover activities
• Document integration designs, mappings, and support procedures
• Follow security, audit, and change management standards for Workday releases and updates

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday Finance integrations and FSCM modules
• Strong, proven experience building integrations with Workday Studio
• Experience with Workday Reporting (custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards)
• Working knowledge of integration technologies such as XML, XSLT, SOAP/REST APIs, and web services
• Solid understanding of Workday security, business processes, and the tenant object model
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work with cross-functional finance and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Workday Finance or Integration certification
• Experience with full-cycle Workday Financials implementations or post-go-live enhancements and release management
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Extend, or Adaptive Planning
• Knowledge of SFTP, EDI, and file-based integration patterns
• Consulting or large enterprise experience
