Contract: 12 Months
Location: Remote (UK)
Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35 subject to determination)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Atlassian Technical Consultant to join a leading Atlassian consultancy on an initial 12-month contract. This is a client-facing role focused on designing and delivering enterprise-scale Atlassian solutions, cloud migrations and digital transformation initiatives across a range of complex customer environments.

The successful consultant will combine strong technical Atlassian expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with clients to understand business requirements, define solution architectures and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops, discovery sessions and requirements gathering activities.
• Design and implement solutions across Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence.
• Deliver Atlassian Cloud migration programmes from Server and Data Center environments.
• Produce high and low-level solution designs, technical documentation and migration strategies.
• Support presales activities including solution design, effort estimation, proposal creation and technical presentations.
• Advise clients on Atlassian best practice, governance, operating models and roadmap planning.
• Configure and optimise Jira, JSM and Confluence environments.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Work closely with delivery, project management and customer teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience as an Atlassian Consultant, Solution Architect or Senior Technical Consultant.
• Deep knowledge of:
  • Jira Software
  • Jira Service Management (JSM)
  • Confluence
  • Atlassian Cloud
• Proven experience delivering Server-to-Cloud and Data Center-to-Cloud migrations.
• Strong understanding of Atlassian administration, workflows, permissions, automations and integrations.
• Experience running discovery workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Client-facing consulting experience within enterprise environments.
• Experience producing solution designs, Statements of Work and technical documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently within a remote consulting environment.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working for an Atlassian Partner or Consultancy.
• Atlassian certifications.
• Experience with:
  • ScriptRunner
  • Assets
  • Advanced Roadmaps
  • Tempo
  • eazyBI
  • Automation for Jira
• Experience integrating Atlassian with ServiceNow, Azure AD, Power BI or other enterprise platforms.
• Presales, proposal and commercial scoping experience.
• Experience delivering ITSM, ESM or Agile transformation programmes.
