Position: Oracle Fusion Financials Functional / Solution Architect

Location: Remote (On Demand Travel Needed)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional / Solution Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, solution architecture, functional design, and end-to-end implementation. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing and implementing Oracle Financials solutions, leading functional teams, and aligning financial processes with business requirements.

The candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials modules, integration architecture, financial process optimization, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design, solution architecture, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Architect end-to-end financial solutions covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
• Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and translate business needs into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Define functional architecture, solution designs, configuration strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and production support initiatives.
• Provide expertise in financial processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Design and oversee integrations between Oracle Fusion Financials and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other integration technologies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Lead functional configuration, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards, and organizational policies.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, standardization, and optimization using Oracle Fusion capabilities.
• Provide architectural guidance, resolve complex functional issues, and mentor functional consultants.

Required Technical Skills:

• Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials: Strong functional and solution architecture experience.
• Core Modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
• Financial Processes: Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Solution Architecture: Functional architecture, solution design, fit-gap analysis, and configuration.
• Implementation: End-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementation, rollout, and support.
• Integrations: Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and financial system integrations.
• Reporting: OTBI, BI Publisher, and Financial Reporting.
• Data Migration: Financial data conversion, reconciliation, and migration strategies.
• Testing: Functional testing, SIT, UAT, and deployment planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, including substantial experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion Financials Solution Architect or Senior Functional Lead.
• Experience leading large-scale Oracle Fusion Financials implementations and transformation programs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
