Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join RE:GEN Green, responsible for playing a key role in supporting safe, high quality delivery on site. They will adopt a role in delivering domestic electrical works, including renewable installations such as Solar PV, Minor Works, Full & Partial Rewires and associated electrical upgrades.
You will lead on-site activities, ensure all works meet UK regulations and MCS standards, mentor apprentice electricians and mates.
Daily Responsibility
Carry out Pre-Installation building inspections (PIBI’s) in line with PAS2030
Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.
Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Follow local building regulations.
Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Efficiently complete work orders and record materials that are used on each job/project.
Advise management on when to replace any electrical equipment to prevent hazards.
Understand & apply electrical installation elements of PAS2035, PAS2030 and Building Regulations.
Maintain and build relationships with colleagues, consultants and subcontractors.
Experience & Skills
Qualified to BS7671 18th edition (amendment 2) and C&G 2391 testing inspection
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Customer‑focused, professional and dependable.
Able to use MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
Good interpersonal and strong communication skills
Good writing and presentation skills
Strong time management skills, allowing switching between a variety of tasks and meeting a combination of daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
Must be analytical and problem solving
A flexible, self-motivating and agile attitude.
Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills
Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, creating a team spirit.
Full UK driving licence
