Senior BI Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Miami, FL that is seeking a Senior BI Data Analyst.

Summary:
The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven solutions that support strategic business decisions across the organization. This role partners with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs, design and develop BI solutions, and transform complex data into actionable insights. The position also plays a key role in driving BI best practices, mentoring team members, and identifying opportunities to improve reporting capabilities and data management processes.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions that support organizational objectives
* Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and analytical tools that enable informed decision-making
* Translate business needs into scalable BI and data solutions that improve operational efficiency and performance
* Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
* Partner with cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting automation, and data quality initiatives
* Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing BI solutions
* Promote best practices for reporting, analytics, and data governance across the organization
* Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and user training initiatives to improve BI adoption and effectiveness
* Stay informed of emerging BI, analytics, and data technologies and recommend improvements that enhance business capabilities
* Mentor and support other analysts through coaching, collaboration, and technical knowledge sharing
* Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of BI solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field preferred; Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
* 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data-focused roles
* Strong experience designing and delivering dashboards, reporting solutions, and business analytics tools
* Proficiency with modern BI and data visualization platforms
* Experience working with relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and data integration processes
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
* Familiarity with data analytics, reporting automation, and data transformation methodologies
* Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
* Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
* Ability to work independently while also contributing within a collaborative team environment
* Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud-based data and analytics environments
* Familiarity with data governance, data modeling, and enterprise reporting frameworks
* Experience mentoring junior team members and leading BI initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
