The Sr Solution Engineer will lead end-to-end solution design and provide technical leadership for Farmers' Customer and Agent digital platforms (customer self-service, mobile app, policy servicing, agent servicing and sales enablement). Part of the CAS IT organization, the role partners with Product, Business, UX, Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to drive application modernization, API-first integration and cloud adoption.

• 9+ years of total experience, with 7–9 years in solution design and delivery for enterprise-scale applications.
• Hands-on technical background with Java and Angular, Node JS (7+ years, advanced).
• Proven experience designing API-based integrations, microservices and distributed applications.
• Experience defining integration and data flow designs across Guidewire and enterprise platforms (desirable).
• Exposure to mobile application development (1–3 years).
• Strong background working with Agile teams, SDLC and CI/CD practices; SAFe / ART exposure is a plus.
• Able to bridge business and technology: advanced stakeholder management, communication and influence.
• Track record mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction across multiple teams.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.
• Fluent English and Bachelor's degree required.

• Lead end-to-end solution design for Customer Apps, Agent Apps, Mobile App and Digital Servicing platforms.
• Translate product and business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Align solution designs with Enterprise Architecture standards and target-state architecture.
• Define application, integration, API and data flow designs across Guidewire and enterprise platforms. (Desirable not mandatory)
• Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Run solution and design reviews covering business, security, performance and operational requirements.
• Drive application modernization, platform simplification and reusable solution patterns.
• Mentor engineers and support production stability, technical risk management and continuous improvement.
