Swift MT MX

Must be onsite at client office in metro Boston (not a remote role)
Software Engineers with solid SWIFT experience needed for portfolio/investment accounting project.

• Swift Build cloud based Swift application
• core dependency for Corporate Actions messaging/confirmations and for Cash payments integration; roadmap includes next-gen SWIFT module.
• Currently we leverage vendor tool; would prefer to move onto STT BESS(plus)

Skill sets:

• Must?haveSenior backend / full?stack engineer (Java, Spring Boot)
• React (working knowledge; lightweight UI / operational screens)
• Microservices with Event streaming & messaging (Kafka / Azure Event Hubs)
• API design (REST and messaging contracts, schema & versioning)
• Relational data modeling (PostgreSQL)
• Should?haveFinancial / payments domain modeling (transactions, accounting flows)
• SWIFT MT / MX familiarity
• Event?driven architecture (idempotency, replay, reconciliation)
• Cloud?native Azure services (AKS, Key Vault, PostgreSQL, Service Bus, Event Hubs)
• Experience creating services that auto?recover from failures
• Nice?to?haveIntegration patterns (file?based, async messaging partner interfaces)
• Observability & operability (metrics, tracing, repair tooling)
• Experience in regulated financial environments
• Coding with AI assistance (Copilot / LLM?assisted workflows)
