Senior ServiceNow SecOps Technical Consultant

Summary
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow SecOps Technical Consultant to design, configure and implement ServiceNow Security Operations solutions. You will build and customise SecOps modules, integrate ServiceNow with security tools, and make sure the platform supports the client’s security operations effectively.

⚠️ Must Have: Hands-on technical implementation experience with ServiceNow SecOps (Security Incident Response and/or Vulnerability Response). Onsite in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement ServiceNow SecOps modules: Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), Configuration Compliance and Threat Intelligence.
• Develop customisations using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Flow Designer.
• Build and maintain integrations with security tools: SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and EDR (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender).
• Configure security playbooks, workflows, assignment rules, SLAs and automated response actions.
• Make sure the CMDB is properly set up and populated to support vulnerability and incident correlation.
• Build dashboards, Performance Analytics and reports for security operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with Business Analysts.
• Support testing, deployment, upgrades and post-go-live support.
• Follow ServiceNow best practices for performance, security and upgradeability.
• Mentor junior developers and create technical documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of ServiceNow development/implementation experience.
• Must: Hands-on implementation experience with ServiceNow SecOps (SIR and/or VR).
• Strong ServiceNow scripting skills: JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server and security integration spokes/plugins.
• Good knowledge of the CMDB and its role in SecOps.
• Understanding of security operations: incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SIEM, vulnerability scanners and EDR tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS – Security Incident Response, CIS – Vulnerability Response.
• Experience with Security Posture Control, Configuration Compliance or Threat Intelligence.
• Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP).
• Experience in banking, government or other regulated sectors in the UAE/GCC.
