Position: Azure Cosmos DB Developer / Architect
Experience: 12+ Years Overall | 3+ Years Hands-on Azure Cosmos DB
Work Mode: Hybrid Onshore

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cosmos DB Architect with strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale, mission-critical applications using Azure Cosmos DB.

The ideal candidate should have experience building highly available, scalable, high-throughput, and always-on enterprise solutions, along with strong production support and performance optimization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize Azure Cosmos DB solutions for high-volume transactional workloads.
• Define data modeling, partition key strategies, and indexing policies.
• Architect highly available, resilient, and scalable database solutions.
• Optimize RU/s consumption, throughput, query performance, and latency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
• Manage deployments, capacity planning, schema evolution, and production operations.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Integrate Cosmos DB with Azure cloud services.
• Develop operational runbooks and engineering standards.
• Drive cost optimization and platform improvements.

Required Technical Skills:

• Cosmos DB data modeling and partitioning strategies.
• Query optimization and performance tuning.
• RU/s and throughput optimization.
• Indexing policies and Change Feed processing.
• Multi-region deployment and global distribution.

Experience Requirements:

• 12+ years of software engineering and database development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure Cosmos DB experience in production environments.
