Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading European paper industry company, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, utilizing 100% recycled paper as its raw material. This established, family-run enterprise offers a stable and forward-thinking work environment within its extensive network of operations.

The Role

Operate and monitor production machinery both on-site and remotely via the process control system.
Manage the startup and shutdown procedures for the paper machine, including paper web recovery during breaks.
Execute felt changes and direct support personnel.
Perform cleaning of equipment components and change scraper blades.
Adjust and verify paper web tension.
Oversee quality parameters using process control data, quality control systems, and laboratory results.

What You'll Need

Completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
Ability to work independently, with initiative, flexibility, and resilience.
Experience in a 5-shift operational environment is beneficial.
