Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading European paper industry company, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, utilizing 100% recycled paper as its raw material. This established, family-run enterprise offers a stable and forward-thinking work environment within its extensive network of operations.

The Role

  • Operate and monitor production machinery both on-site and remotely via the process control system.
  • Manage the startup and shutdown procedures for the paper machine, including paper web recovery during breaks.
  • Execute felt changes and direct support personnel.
  • Perform cleaning of equipment components and change scraper blades.
  • Adjust and verify paper web tension.
  • Oversee quality parameters using process control data, quality control systems, and laboratory results.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, with initiative, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Experience in a 5-shift operational environment is beneficial.
