Our Field Service team provide on the ground support to homes and business around the country. As a Trainee Field Technician, you'll be a trusted and familiar face in the community, using technology to solve real-world problems while building hands on skills and experience that set you up to grow your career.
You will be rewarded with:- 1 Year Full-time paid traineeship.

As a Field Delivery Telecommunications Trainee, you will work alongside a mentor offering you ongoing coaching, support and mentoring during your traineeship. You will get hands on training while providing our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in homes and/or businesses. You will actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to Telstra's Behaviours & Habits and corporate strategy. We have several positions available around the country. Find the specific locations below. The expectation is to reside in the targeted area or be willing to relocate.
Skills & attributes- Hold a current drivers licence.
- Physically fit for the role.
- The ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening.
- Ability to undertake a police check.
- Professional and polite communication.
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and safety-first approach.
- Be technically minded.
- As a Trainee Technician you will be provided with Telecommunication Technology Cert III training during the traineeship along with relevant certifications and/or licencing for the location you reside in.
- No prior qualifications needed.
- Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment undertaken by RTO.
- Telstra can support you through offering training on Traffic management, Working With Children Check and white card certificates.
