Software Engineer (Golang) | High-frequency trading (HFT)

Essential Skills

• 4+ years programming exposure with Go/ Golang or similar
• Understanding of AWS to build pipelines.
• Understanding of high-performance machine critical systems; ideally a trading platform or similar (financial trading/ banking/ air traffic/ sports betting platforms etc)
• Strong problem-solving (mathematical/ statistical) mindset with a systems-focused approach

Day-to-Day Duties

• Design, develop and analyse multiple high-performance trading and algorithmic platforms, whilst enabling global data to connect to it simultaneously
• Work with wider teams to add features, improve performance and increase reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD, security and long-term technical direction
• Innovate internal research projects exploring new metrics, analytical methods and applications of data
