What You’ll Do

As a Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your decisions directly influence outcomes. With modern technology and a strong local team, you’ll design security solutions tailored to unique client needs while owning both operational performance and financial results.

You will oversee security operations at two client locations in the Menlo Park area, act as the main point of contact for the client, and represent Securitas on-site. This position plays a key role in supporting a key client account by leading day-to-day security operations, developing the on-site security team, and ensuring high levels of service delivery and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings a law enforcement or military background, strong leadership skills, and a desire to grow within corporate security leadership.

Strategic Leadership

  • Manage security operations at two client locations, ensuring alignment with client expectations and Securitas standards.
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative for Securitas, modeling our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
  • Partner with Securitas leadership to improve processes, support future growth, and contribute to broader regional and program goals.

Financial Management

  • Oversee payroll, billing, and basic financials for assigned sites.
  • Monitor site-level costs and staffing to support budget and profitability targets.
  • Provide input on financial performance and support implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor security officers and supervisors to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and address performance issues promptly.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Client Relations

  • Act as the main point of contact for the client at assigned locations.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with client stakeholders through regular communication, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and support long-term partnership and retention.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure reliable coverage and continuity of operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with client requirements, Securitas policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Utilize available tools and systems (e.g., scheduling, reporting, incident management) to monitor performance and address issues before they impact the client.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are

An ideal candidate brings a service-first mindset, clear communication skills, strong attention to detail, and sound judgment when approaching challenges. You are solutions-focused, thrive in both independent and team settings, and are comfortable leading others in a dynamic environment.

Required Education & Experience

  • Prior law enforcement or military experience required.
  • Associate degree plus 3–5 years of leadership experience in security, operations, or a related field;
or 6–8 years of directly related experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience will also be considered.

Technical or Job-Specific Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in security, operations, or a similar environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to act quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both clients and employees.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable using basic technology such as email, scheduling systems, and reporting tools.

Experience that sets you apart

  • Experience managing multi-site operations or client accounts.
  • Prior experience in corporate security or contract security services.
  • Additional leadership, security, or project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with security industry best practices and client service in a contract environment.

Why you would want to join the team

  • Opportunity to make a direct impact on security operations for one of our most important global clients.
  • Clear visibility with both client leadership and Securitas regional leadership, with room to grow into larger regional or program roles.
  • Career growth and development opportunities within a global industry leader.
  • Collaborative team culture with support from experienced leadership, HR, and operations teams.
  • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off (vacation, holidays, and sick time in line with company policy).
  • A chance to bring your law enforcement or military experience into a leadership role where you can build a long-term career in security management.
