• Document current data architecture, interfaces, integrations, data flows, APIs, batch processes, and system dependencies.

• Develop and maintain inventories of systems and integrations connected to the legacy ERP environment.

• Assess data quality, completeness, consistency, duplication, and readiness for migration.

• Identify legacy data requiring cleansing, remediation, standardization, archiving, conversion, or migration.

• Evaluate existing data-governance practices and identify opportunities to strengthen ownership, standards, quality controls, and accountability.

• Assess dependencies across Finance, Human Resources, Custom Resource Management Solutions, and other enterprise systems.

• Identify risks associated with legacy applications, custom integrations, reporting solutions, and downstream/upstream dependencies.

• Develop recommendations for data readiness, migration planning, integration rationalization, and modernization.

• Support development of future-state data and integration architecture principles.

• Develop an ERP data and integration readiness roadmap.

• Collaborate with business analysts to ensure business requirements and process changes appropriately address data and integration needs.

• Support ERP solution evaluation by assessing proposed platforms against integration and data requirements.

• Participate in RFP development, vendor evaluation, solution demonstrations, and technical assessments as appropriate.

• Coordinate with security, infrastructure, identity/access management, reporting/analytics, CRM, LMS, document-management, and other enterprise technology teams.

• Provide findings, risks, recommendations, and technical decision materials to program and executive leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience advising executive tier management regarding all aspects of ERP lifecycle phases.

• At least ten (10) years of experience in a technical, data-centric role in complex enterprise environments.

• At least five (5) years of experience supporting ERP implementations, ERP modernization/replacement, or enterprise application transformation, including data and integration planning.

• At least five (5) years of experience with data migration, data profiling, data quality, cleansing, transformation, mapping, reconciliation, and/or conversion planning.

• At least five (5) years of experience assessing and documenting interfaces, integrations, data flows, system dependencies, APIs, batch processes, and legacy application dependencies.

• At least three (3) years of experience leading or implementing data governance, data standards, data-quality controls, master/reference data practices, or enterprise data-management frameworks.

• Desirable Qualifications Project leadership experience involving a variety of ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle Cloud, or comparable SaaS ERP platforms.

• Experience assessing and rationalizing a highly customized legacy ERP ecosystem with numerous downstream and upstream integrations.

• Experience in large-scale, higher education environments involving Finance, HR/HCM, and Student/SIS environments.

• Experience in California public-sector enterprise environments.

• Experience developing ERP data-readiness assessments, migration strategies, integration roadmaps, or implementation-readiness recommendations prior to solution implementation.

• Experience integrating ERP environments with CRM, LMS, document management, identity/access management, reporting/analytics, or other enterprise platforms.
