Base Salary: $127,000 - $220,000
A rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Software Engineer, AI Applications to help design and deliver intelligent software solutions that improve customer experiences and streamline business operations.
This position is focused on building production-grade applications that leverage modern AI technologies to solve real business challenges. The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering foundation along with proven experience integrating generative AI capabilities into customer-facing products and operational workflows.
You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions, support AI-powered features throughout their lifecycle, and help drive the adoption of emerging technologies across the organization. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience deploying AI, machine learning, or LLM-powered solutions into production environments
• Strong experience with Python, Go, Java, or a comparable programming language
• Experience building APIs, backend services, and distributed applications
• Proven experience integrating AI-powered functionality into software products
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and application scalability
• Experience evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing production systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working with large language models and generative AI technologies
• Experience building AI-driven workflows, assistants, or automation solutions
• Familiarity with AI evaluation methodologies and quality measurement frameworks
• Experience supporting AI applications after production deployment
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and performance optimization practices
• Experience working within microservices architectures
• Background building customer-facing applications and digital products

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered software applications
• Build scalable APIs and backend services that support intelligent workflows
• Integrate large language models into customer and business-facing applications
• Create evaluation and monitoring processes to improve AI performance and reliability
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design new features and capabilities
• Troubleshoot issues across software, infrastructure, and AI systems
• Improve application performance, scalability, and operational stability
• Support AI initiatives from development through production deployment
• Participate in system design and technical architecture discussions
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices across the team
