Job Description

Sales Support Specialist - Direct Hire
Pay: $70,000/year (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift
Location: Trotwood, OH
Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings preferred.


Experience Requirements

  • 3-7 years of account management, sales support, customer service, or inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience supporting custom manufacturing or engineered-to-order products preferred.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and customer accounts simultaneously.

  • Experience with order processing, quoting, and sales administration.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to work in an office environment using computers and business software throughout the day.

  • Occasional travel for trade shows and customer-related events.

  • Ability to attend meetings and collaborate with cross-functional departments.


Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary support contact for assigned customer accounts.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding pricing, order status, technical documentation, and delivery schedules.

  • Support outside sales representatives with account management and customer follow-up activities.

  • Prepare and manage quotes for custom and standard products in coordination with engineering and estimating teams.

  • Enter and maintain sales orders within SAP and other company systems.

  • Track orders from quotation through production and shipment to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, supply chain, and finance departments to support customer requirements.

  • Assist with sales forecasting, revenue tracking, backlog reporting, and account performance analysis.

  • Support contract reviews and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

  • Identify opportunities for account growth, customer retention, and process improvements.

  • Participate in trade shows and industry events as needed.
