Project Manager – Life Sciences

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry experience to lead and deliver complex projects across business, technology, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, or operational environments. The ideal candidate will have strong project leadership, stakeholder management, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Partner with business, IT, clinical, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Manage project scope, requirements, deliverables, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Facilitate project status meetings and communicate progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and financial tracking.
• Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors, CROs, technology partners, consultants, and internal teams as required.
• Drive issue resolution and remove project blockers to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, presentations, and project documentation.
• Establish project governance, communication plans, RAID logs, and change-control processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, or Healthcare organizations.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional and enterprise-level projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/project delivery methodologies and/or traditional project management practices.
• Experience working in regulated environments with an understanding of GxP/GMP/Google Cloud Platform/GLP, FDA, or other applicable regulatory requirements, depending on the project.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant certification.
• Experience with clinical trials, R&D, drug development, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, or laboratory systems.
• Experience managing CSV/CSA, Veeva, LIMS, MES, ERP, CRM, or other Life Sciences technology implementations.
• Experience working with FDA-regulated environments and GxP validation requirements.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
