Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager – Salesforce to lead high-priority IT application rationalization and modernization initiatives in Washington, DC. The role will take ownership of a critical portfolio of Safety and Asset/Product Protection applications, driving multi-year roadmaps, technical consolidation, and modernization initiatives.

The Project Manager will serve as the strategic bridge between IT leadership, platform architects, and operational business units to ensure seamless Salesforce integrations, legacy system decommissioning, data migration, and optimized digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio & Project Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Salesforce application rationalization, consolidation, and modernization projects.
  • Multi-Year Roadmap Planning: Partner with technology leadership to define project scope, governance structures, budget allocations, and delivery milestones.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, cross-functional business teams, and technical delivery partners to align requirements with strategic organizational goals.
  • Legacy Decommissioning & Change Management: Oversee technical transitions, data migration strategies, and change management plans required to sunset legacy applications and transition to unified Salesforce solutions.
  • Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project bottlenecks, manage dependencies across enterprise IT systems, and maintain rigorous quality and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Salesforce Expertise: 7+ years of IT Project Management experience with demonstrated exposure to Salesforce platform architecture, migrations, and application consolidations.
  • Application Rationalization: Proven experience managing enterprise-level application rationalization, system decommissioning, or technology stack optimization initiatives.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience working with Safety, Security, Asset Protection, Risk Management, or similar technology business units is preferred.
  • Methodology & Certifications: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies. PMP and/or Salesforce certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional executive presentation, negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills within complex corporate or public-sector environments.
