Job Description

Product Manager

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid, may be required travel to London, Manchester, Leicester, Hursley, Glasgow or Edinburgh

Inside IR35 - Umbrella only

Active SC or eligable candiadtes will be considered

Our Client is hiring a Product Manager to join a team supporting a wider programme to transform and enhance enterprise systems-ultimately helping improve government services. You'll work in an environment that values user-centred design, agile delivery, and cloud-native approaches to deliver outcomes that matter.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own product vision, strategy and roadmap planning to guide delivery
  • Lead market and customer research to shape what we build next
  • Create, manage and prioritise the product backlog to maximise value
  • Apply agile delivery principles and methodologies to support continuous progress
  • Use user-centred design practices to keep users at the heart of decisions
  • Partner with stakeholders to secure alignment, buy-in and approval on product direction
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and delivery quality

What you'll bring:

  • Strong capability in product vision, strategy, and roadmap management
  • Proven stakeholder management skills-able to align teams and win support for decisions
  • Experience using market/customer research to inform product priorities
  • Confidence working with agile delivery and backlog management
  • A user-focused mindset, with experience of user-centred design practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence outcomes
