Quick overview
Job description
At the Vitrolife Group, we work every day to unlock the full potential of science and technology to reduce the barriers towards building a family. Together we help our customers and their patients to fulfill the dream of having a baby.
Do you understand how a sales organization wins business, and how to make Salesforce help it do so?
As our Global Salesforce Business Analyst, you are the link between our commercial teams and the Salesforce platform. You work side by side with sales leaders, key account managers and customer operations, turn their needs into simple, scalable solutions in Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, configure much of it yourself, and make sure our teams actually adopt what we build.
This is not a back-office IT role. We are looking for someone with genuine commercial curiosity and the hands-on Salesforce skills to act on it.
Commercial Excellence is part of our global Sales and Marketing organisation and covers pricing, Salesforce and CPQ, business analytics and project management.
You join a small Salesforce team within it, which means broad ownership, high visibility with sales leadership and real influence on how the platform develops. You work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, Finance, IT and external implementation partners.
What you will do
Partner with the business
Be the trusted Salesforce partner for global and regional Sales, Marketing and Customer Operations.
Run workshops and process mapping, from lead and opportunity to quote, pricing and forecast, and design improved future processes.
Translate needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules.
Challenge requests constructively, and standardise, simplify or reuse before building new.
Give sales leaders reliable insight
Build and continuously improve the Salesforce reports and dashboards that sales leaders use to steer pipeline, forecast and customer coverage, and make them the trusted source for regional business reviews.
Make sure opportunities and pipeline are captured consistently across all our product areas, so the funnel reflects the full business.
Design and configure
Design scalable, user-friendly solutions in Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ with administrators, developers and partners.
Help shape our quote-to-cash roadmap, including the evolution from Salesforce CPQ to Revenue Cloud, the successor platform, and prepare our processes and data for it.
Configure approved changes yourself: objects, fields, layouts, record types, validation rules, Flow, reports and dashboards.
Assess end-to-end impact on processes, data, permissions, reporting and integrations, within our security, data-protection and release standards.
Own data quality and integration requirements
Keep contract prices, price lists and quote data accurate and consistent between Salesforce, our ERP systems and pricing tools.
Own the business requirements for integrations with ERP, marketing automation, BI and pricing tools.
Define data flows, field mappings and data standards for accounts, opportunities, quotes and prices.
Analyse data discrepancies and integration issues, find root causes and coordinate fixes with IT and partners.
Run intake and releases
Run the intake process and prioritise requests by business value, risk and effort.
Maintain the backlog, define test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing and support go-live and hypercare.
Drive adoption
Lead change management for new functionality, from stakeholder engagement to go-live and follow-up.
Deliver training, user guides and release communications, and gather feedback through user forums.
Define adoption and CRM health KPIs for every region, report on them and act where adoption falls short.
Follow Salesforce releases, including AI and automation such as Agentforce, and recommend where they add commercial value.
What you bring
Must have
Around 5 years or more of hands-on Salesforce experience with a strong focus on Sales and Revenue Cloud, as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Administrator or similar.
Practical experience with Salesforce CPQ. Experience with Revenue Cloud, or with a migration from CPQ to Revenue Cloud.
Strong declarative skills, especially reports and dashboards that sales leaders use to run their business, plus Flow and a sound understanding of profiles, permission sets and the security model.
A solid understanding of commercial processes: lead-to-order, pipeline management, quoting and pricing, account management and forecasting.
Proven requirements, process-mapping and workshop skills, with user stories and acceptance criteria.
Fluent English and experience working with stakeholders across countries and cultures.
Nice to have
Experience in a sales, sales operations or commercial excellence role.
Experience leading change and adoption across several countries.
Integration experience with ERP systems and BI tools such as Power BI.
Agile delivery with Jira and Confluence.
Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ or Revenue Cloud Consultant.
Exposure to Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud or Data Cloud.
Experience in medical devices, life sciences or another regulated B2B industry.
Who you are
Commercially minded. You think in customers, revenue and sales productivity, and ask why a request matters before you build it.
A natural bridge. You are as comfortable with sales leaders as with developers, and explain complex topics simply.
Hands-on and pragmatic. You prefer simple, standard solutions and enjoy configuring and testing yourself.
An owner. You manage your own priorities and see initiatives through.
