Job Summary
Tryfacta is seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Technician for our client in Atlanta, GA 30329. This is a temporary contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!
Position Title: Audio Visual (AV) Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA 30329 (100% Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Work Schedule: Full-Time; 8-hour shifts with potential 24x7/365 rotational coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay Rate: DOE
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day Audio Visual (AV) support for conference rooms, meeting spaces, and emergency operations.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, cameras, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
- Support Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, and other collaboration technologies.
- Respond quickly to technical issues to ensure uninterrupted meeting and presentation support.
- Assist with live meetings, executive briefings, training sessions, and emergency response operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of AV systems.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with internal teams to identify operational gaps and recommend improvements.
- Maintain professionalism while supporting a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for reporting and communication.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Experience supporting Audio Visual (AV) equipment and conference room technology.
- Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and presentation systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Bachelor''s degree with 0–3 years of experience OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Must be able to work 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA.
- Experience supporting emergency operations or public health environments is preferred but not required.
- No AV certification is required.
