Inventory Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Alameda, CA.

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our industrial automation and factory-control distribution center. This role is ideal for the person who thrives on organization, precision, and systems-thinking-someone who approaches inventory management with the care and structure of a librarian rather than a traditional warehouse worker.

Our facilities contain thousands of industrial automation components. Success in this role depends on maintaining order, accuracy, and accessibility across a complex and ever-growing catalog of new and repurposed parts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Organize, catalog and maintain inventory with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
* Ensure every item is properly labeled, documented, and traceable within inventory systems
* Participate in light warehouse duties such as part retrieval and preparation
* Collaborate with other team members to meet strict daily shipping deadlines

This is not a typical warehouse role. While the position is based in a distribution center, the focus is on precision, organization, and system integrity rather than physical labor or equipment operation.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
