wWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (Fresher) to join our Internal Audit team in the NBFC domain. The candidate will assist in evaluating internal controls, risk management processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Audit & Compliance

• Assist in conducting internal audits across various business functions (credit, operations, finance, collections, etc)
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation measures
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, and statutory requirements
• Identify gaps, process inefficiencies, and areas of improvement

Process Review & Risk Assessment

• Perform risk-based audits and prepare audit programs
• Analyse financial and operational data for anomalies or risks
• Suggest practical recommendations for strengthening controls

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare audit reports with observations, risk ratings, and recommendations
• Follow up on audit findings and track closure of action points
• Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with different departments to understand processes
• Support management in implementing audit recommendations

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting standards and audit principles
• Basic knowledge of NBFC operations, lending lifecycle, and RBI regulations
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and report-writing abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
• High attention to detail and ethical mindset

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) - Fresher
• Articleship experience in Internal Audit / Statutory Audit preferred
• Exposure to financial services / NBFCs / banking domain is an advantage
