They are seeking a dedicated Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to enhance their clinical team.

The Role

• Lead in the surveillance, prevention, and control of infections within the hospital setting.
• Promote and maintain high standards of infection prevention and control practices to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Provide evidence-based clinical advice and support for infection prevention and control initiatives.
• Act as a professional role model, demonstrating a commitment to improving IPC practices and staff education.
• Contribute to your clinical area of expertise for 15 hours per week (ward, theatre, outpatients, or pre-operative assessment).

What You'll Need

• Registered Nurse with a degree or equivalent experience.
• Current NMC registration.
• Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of recent updates in infection prevention and control practice.
• Experience working as a registered nurse in an acute surgical care environment.
• Previous experience and knowledge of infection prevention and control at ward/departmental level.
