Job Description

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Monday to Friday Days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and the option of 8am-4pm)
Up to £46,000 + Enhanced Overtime + Quarterly Bonus

This is what you'll be doing

  • Providing electrical and mechanical support to operators during setup and changeovers.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Repairing electrical components such as motors, drives, and controllers.
  • Maintaining gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and packaging machinery.
  • Supporting health & safety practices and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, where employee ideas and suggestions are actively listened to and encouraged.

This is what you'll bring to the team

  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and controllers.
  • Troubleshooting skills for electrical/electronic issues on production machinery.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical or mechanical maintenance are advantageous.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and team collaborative skills.
