Acting as an external recruitment partner, StaffRight Associates is managing the search to connect top-tier procurement professionals with this rapidly growing, private-equity-backed organization.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze Statements of Work (SOWs), solicitation requirements, and contractual terms to isolate business or financial exposures and present actionable risk assessments to executive leadership.

  • Architect comprehensive subcontract packages, non-disclosure agreements, and bases of estimates incorporating accurate pricing, delivery schedules, and regulatory flow-downs.

  • Lead commercial negotiations covering scope modifications, funding oversight, delivery tracking, and complex contractual provisions.

  • Partner alongside Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, and Contracts divisions to guarantee complete alignment with customer flow-down mandates and operational performance targets.

  • Champion strict regulatory compliance by maintaining impeccable, audit-ready documentation in full accordance with federal statutes, export controls, and internal governance frameworks.

  • Resolve intricate contractual disputes and formal communications while serving as the primary liaison for critical vendor networks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline.

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience supporting Department Of Defense (DoD), Aerospace, Defense, or government-funded programs.

  • Mastery in interpreting and negotiating complex terms under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

  • Proven experience supporting internal or external compliance evaluations, including Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements.

  • Deep knowledge of diverse agreement structures, including Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Firm-Fixed-Price Level-Of-Effort (FFP LOE), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Time And Materials (T&M), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), and Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs).

  • Working knowledge of General Services Administration Acquisition Regulation (GSAR) and Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) standards.

  • Familiarity with industry quality and security frameworks, including AS9100 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration capabilities across technical, financial, and executive disciplines in high-risk, fast-paced environments.

  • U.S. Person status as defined by applicable federal export control laws.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Annual base salary range: $100,000 – $140,000.

  • Paid relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
