Job description

We're looking for a UGC Content Creator to make short-form videos for Hire Overseas, a fast-moving offshore staffing and HR platform that places vetted global talent into U.S. companies. You will film and edit 60-second videos for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook from scripts we provide, and deliver finished content that looks native to each platform rather than like a polished ad.

This is a contractor position. Scripts are provided, so you are not writing the message. You are bringing it to life: natural delivery, good lighting and sound, tight editing, and a feel that stops the scroll. You handle filming and editing yourself from start to finish. If you have a portfolio of short-form content that feels real, moves fast, and holds attention, and you can deliver consistently without being chased, this role is a strong fit.

Why You'll Want to Join

  • You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
  • Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy
  • Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
  • 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
  • This is a contractor position open to creators based in the United States
  • Work directly with the team of a growing offshore staffing company with real traction and a strong brand
  • High-ownership creative role where you control filming, editing, and delivery from start to finish

What You'll Work On

Filming Short-Form Video

  • Film 60-second videos from provided scripts for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Deliver scripts naturally on camera so the content feels authentic rather than scripted or stiff
  • Set up your own lighting, sound, framing, and backgrounds to produce clean, professional footage

Editing and Finishing

  • Edit your own footage into finished, platform-ready videos with tight pacing, captions, and clean cuts
  • Format and export each video correctly for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Apply light graphics, music, and sound where they improve the video without adding clutter

Delivery and Collaboration

  • Deliver finished videos on a consistent schedule and flag any risks to the timeline early
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and revise without losing momentum
  • Keep files organized and delivered in the formats the team needs

What You Bring

  • A portfolio or link showing short-form videos you have filmed and edited yourself; this is required to apply
  • Comfort on camera and the ability to deliver a script in a natural, human way
  • Strong editing skills in a tool such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
  • A good eye for pacing, hooks, and what holds attention on short-form platforms
  • Your own filming setup, including a good camera or phone, lighting, and clean audio
  • Reliable and organized with a record of delivering on schedule
  • Clear written English for feedback and coordination
  • Based in the United States

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating UGC or short-form content for brands, especially B2B, SaaS, or service companies
  • Experience with captions, motion graphics, or basic animation
  • Familiarity with what performs on YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels
  • Experience working from scripts or creative briefs

How to Apply

Please include:

  1. Your updated resume
  2. A portfolio or link to short-form videos you have filmed and edited yourself
  3. A short Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, describing your content creation experience, and walking through one video you are proud of and how you made it

Only candidates who submit both a portfolio and a Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.

If you make short-form video that feels real, move fast from script to finished edit, and want to build a steady content engine for a growing company, this role gives you the ownership and the direct impact to do your best work.
