Senior Site Reliability Engineer

GovCIO LLC seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical federal IT systems. You will design and automate cloud infrastructure, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response for high-availability services. Partner with development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability, reduce toil, and embed SRE best practices. Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for federal systems.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, frequent deployments.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for high-availability services.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed SRE best practices.
• Optimize performance, capacity, and cost across production environments.
• Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Drive automation to reduce manual toil and improve system resilience.
