**Job Title:** Software Architect (Open to Senior/Lead/Principal levels)

**Location:** Roseland, NJ (Face-to-Face Interview Required)

**Duration:** 6-Month Contract + Extensions

### **Project Overview**

Our Innovation Labs team is seeking a Software Architect to define and build next-generation products. The Architect will be responsible for investigating, designing, and implementing technical solutions while working closely with lean/agile development teams.

Key responsibilities include documenting Domain Models, maintaining API schemas, contributing to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC/ADLC), and remaining hands-on with production code, automation, and supporting tools.

**Tech Stack:** Node.js, Java, React, MERN, GraphQL, DSQL, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, Jenkins, REST APIs, CI/CD, TDD, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Distributed/Microservices Architecture.

### **Role Requirements (Non-Negotiable)**

* **Experience:** 10+ years of experience in a Software Architecture role.

* **TDD Evangelist:** Must have deep experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). The team automates all quality gates and practices true Continuous Delivery (CD); candidates must be strong advocates for this methodology.

* **Technical Proficiency:** Strong hands-on experience with either **Node.js** or **Java**.

* **Architecture & Design:** Proficiency in translating complex solutions into UML diagrams using tools such as Enterprise Architect, Mural, or similar.

* **API Design:** Proven experience designing APIs used to integrate isolated systems with independent domains.

* **DevOps Tools:** Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Docker.

* **Background:** Strong background as an API or Backend Developer.

* **Soft Skills:** Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced development environment.

- Experience in SOX compliant systems, E-Commerce, and/or Cybersecurity a big plus.
