Senior Data Engineer (Project Controls)
Permanent | UK based, hybrid (Warrington)

We're building the reporting data capability behind Proicere's project controls work a hands-on, client-facing role embedded in major capital programmes. You'll take a reporting product from zero to live fast, then grow it into a governed service that lasts.

What you'll do

• Trace every reported metric back to a system of record and owner
• Pull data from APIs, exports and messy manual sources (Excel, XER/P6, PDFs) and model it so it holds up
• Build reconciliation, lineage and exception reporting in from day one
• Own and run the Azure reporting platform to production standards

What you'll bring

• Delivered a reporting product from scratch against a fixed deadline
• Worked with cost, schedule, risk or change data on capital programmes (construction, infrastructure, energy, defence or nuclear)
• Strong SQL and Python; Azure data platform (Data Factory/Fabric, Synapse); Power BI
• Confident running client workshops and chasing access yourself

Nice to have: NEC3/4 and CEMAR, Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier/Aconex/ProjectWise/Asite, dbt.
